The rain in the Taupo region forced us to change our plans. So we head for the route through Te Urewera national park. In the first place it looks like a simple gravel road. Nevertheless the lush, dense jungle offers us magically overgrown trees, a glimpse into New Zealand wildlife and an adventurous tour. Off the beaten tourist track, sounds like its made for us.
