We’d like to use the opportunity and introduce us and our blog project 2adventurers.de to you. This ‚us‘ consists of Thomas, the technical genius behind this project and Bianca, the one who produces the written content. We are on the road since early 2016.

What started basically as a Travel diary eventually evolved into a Food & Travel Blog

It all started in February 2016 with a flight to New Zealand and a Working Holiday Visa in our luggage. Since then we have met some wonderful people, tried different jobs and explored some of the most beautiful places on this planet. You can find our stories and experiences listed on our website under adventures. Take also some time to explore our pictures.

We live on a very tight budget, which means working for food and accommodation instead of staying in luxury resorts. Having a shower in the aquatic center, living in a campervan, low-cost airlines flying in the middle of the night or staying with locals. A backpack full of stuff must be enough. But guess what?

It's the best thing that ever happened to us

And we don’t want to miss these experiences for nothing in the world. On the contrary, it seems hard to imagine living any other lifestyle. It is definitely not only about the physical traveling, but a journey to ourselves. During the last months we realized how little time we spend on the truly important things in life. Simply because we are to busy with our daily life routines. Or how less we actually know what those important things are to us.

Exploring spirituality, being happy, try everything and spend time dreaming. That is the real luxury of our nomadic lifestyle

Apart from the philosophic level, we get into some real tangible topics as well. Our main focus is on getting to know foreign cultures, interesting people and their way of life.

Especially interesting is a glimpse into foreign pots and pans

We tried a lot of cooking at home with different ingredients ourselves. But eventually it was the view beyond our doorsteps, that brought us the idea to use our passion for food on the blog. The results of our food experiences will be shown in our foodblog tastethecultures

During our travel we have been to New Zealand, Cook Island, Australia and Bali so far. We want to see more than just the touristic site of places. We want to dive deeper into cultures and even learn about the sorrows and problems of people. Topics that might be of interest are environmental protection, humanness, politics or work-and-life-balance. You can read more about this in our soon to be published rubric Think about it.

We would like to make our experiences of usage for other travellers. It is all about sharing and caring for each other. We had to find out many things during our travels on our own.

And whilst there is nothing that replaces your own experiences, it can be good to get some inspiration or advice sometimes

That’s why we want to initiate a new feature into our adventures called „How to…“. Have a look around and see if you can find something interesting for you. If you are an adviser on one of these topics, we would be happy to get into contact and exchange ideas with you.

We want to touch our readers, take them on a journey, inspire them, evoke thinking or even put a smile on their faces. We would be delighted if you would join in with your comments or ratings.
