The rain doesn't stop. On the contrary, it changes into snow. That's why we don't head to the Tongariro Mountain, but admire it from far away distance. Anyway we pamper ourselves with a day spent in the DeBretts Hot springs in Taupo. After we are finally fully warmed up again, we risk a walk through the freezing cold to see the Huka waterfalls.
